A mechanized flip book modeled in the form of a retro flip clock titled “How We'll Stay Together.” The animation depicts three units of time in a family: Hours are represented by the slowly changing home, minutes by the parents tied to home, and seconds depict the child, rapidly changing, growing and pulling against their familial ties. I created this object and story concept for my MFA thesis at SVA.

Mechanism designed and built in collaboration with Ayodamola Tanimowo Okunseinde and Yvette King of NYC-based Triumph and Disaster.
